Brazil offers significant opportunities for U.S. exporters, but it can also be a challenging market to enter.

Although most Brazilian import requirements formally fall on the buyer, they can determine whether your export sale moves forward. If a prospective buyer cannot confidently classify your product, secure the necessary approvals or calculate its landed cost, negotiations may stall or quietly disappear.

U.S. exporters that understand these requirements can identify potential obstacles earlier, provide buyers with the information they need and make their companies easier to do business with.

Join us for a free, one-hour webinar as Caio Serra explains eight questions every U.S. exporter should address when pursuing opportunities in Brazil. You’ll learn how to better qualify prospective buyers, anticipate Brazil’s import requirements and help prevent unexpected costs and delays from derailing a promising sale.

What You’ll Learn

During this webinar, we’ll discuss:

  • Why Brazil is worth the effort and the market-entry challenges exporters should anticipate.
  • How to find qualified buyers now that public importer lists are no longer available.
  • Eight questions involving buyer authorization (RADAR), NCM classification, import licensing, product registration (ANVISA, MAPA, INMETRO), trade defence measures, DUIMP, landed cost and customs clearance.
  • Five practical ways to make your company easier for a Brazilian importer to buy from, including choosing appropriate Incoterms, supplying complete product data, offering workable payment terms, helping buyers structure their initial orders and building confidence through references and samples.

The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A, giving you an opportunity to ask Caio questions about selling and shipping to Brazil.
