After IEEPA: The New Tariff Landscape Explained
What changed, what didn’t and how U.S. importers and exporters should respond.
Wednesday, March 11, beginning at 1:00 pm EDT | 12:00 pm CDT | 11:00 am MST | 10:00 am PDT
Trade policy shifted again.
The U.S. Supreme Court struck down last year’s International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) tariffs, and the White House responded almost immediately with a new broad tariff measure covering most imports and reshaping the structure of U.S. duties once again.
The Court did not address how previously collected IEEPA duties will be refunded—leaving billions of dollars in potential repayments subject to lower court decisions and Customs procedures.
To help you understand what this means for your business, Shipping Solutions is hosting international trade attorney Adams C. Lee of Harris Sliwoski for a timely follow-up webinar breaking down:
- What the Supreme Court decision actually did—and didn’t—change
- How the new global tariff imposed under Section 122 works
- Which tariffs remain in place (including Section 301 and Section 232)
- What importers should be doing right now
With more than 25 years of experience handling international trade disputes across multiple countries, Adams will walk through what businesses should anticipate next.
This live session includes Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask how these changes affect your specific situation and compliance obligations.
