If 2026 has left you wondering what just happened to international trade—and what might happen next—you’re not alone!

For businesses moving goods across borders, keeping up with tariffs, export controls and shifting trade policies can feel like a job of its own. As the year comes to a close, it’s time to step back, connect the dots and consider what these developments mean for your business.

Join Shipping Solutions for a free, 90-minute webinar featuring three experts who will put the year’s import and export developments in perspective and look ahead to 2027.

Three Perspectives on a Year of Change

Each speaker will deliver a focused, 20-minute presentation:

  • Exports in 2026: What Changed and Why It Matters. Lindsay Bernsen Wardlaw, founder of Wardlaw Trade Law, will review key developments in U.S. export controls, sanctions and compliance requirements, with practical takeaways for exporters.
  • Imports in 2026: Tariffs, Trade Policy and Your Business. Adams C. Lee of Harris Sliwoski will examine the year’s major tariff and import policy developments and what they mean for U.S. importers and their supply chains.
  • The 2027 Outlook: What Should Be on Your Radar? Dr. John Pournoor, CEO and founder of Government Analytica, will explore the policy and geopolitical forces that could shape international trade in the coming year—and what businesses should be watching as they plan ahead.

Bring Your Questions

After the presentations, we’ll devote 30 minutes to live Q&A. Bring your questions about the year’s changes, the challenges your team is facing and what may come next.

You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of what changed, why it matters and where to focus your attention heading into 2027.
