Shipping Solutions 9.22 and 8.22 Now Available

Shipping Solutions has released two new versions of its export documentation and compliance software: Shipping Solutions Professional and Enterprise Version 9.22 and Shipping Solutions Classic Version 8.22.

Current Shipping Solutions Annual Maintenance Program (AMP) subscribers can download the new versions for free from the AMP website. Non-subscribers can get an update by sending an email to help@shippingsolutionssoftware.com or calling (888) 890-7447.

This update includes a number of enhancements to the software:

• Includes changes to the Electronic Certificate of Origin process to work with the American World Trade Chamber of Commerce’s new certification portal. This portal provides an easy way for Shipping Solutions customers to get a stamped Certificate of Origin at a discounted price. Send an email to help@shippingsolutionsoftware.com if you'd like more information on this service.
• Adds new BIS License Type and Foreign Port codes.
• Allows users to customize how the FTA Origin Criteria is displayed on the USMCA Certifications of Origin. The default is to display the Origin Criteria as Criterion 1, Criterion 2, etc. With this change, users can change that to any text they or their customers need.
• Allows for customization of the field labels on the Panama TPA Certificate of Origin and Korea FTA Certificate of Origin. In addition, the email field on the Korea FTA has been enlarged.
• Adds additional customization options to the Generic Certificate of Origin such as making the Country of Origin field configurable, so that you can show a 2-character code or the full name of the country. 
• Fixes the logo on the USMCA (all versions) so that it displays correctly on continuation pages.
• Updates the way the Commercial and Proforma invoices print any additional freight and handling fees on the forms, so that no blank lines appear between the fees if a user chooses not to display some of those fees.
• Fixes weight calculations on the Commercial Invoice-Landscape version to better accommodate large values.
• Adds a “favorites” indicator to the Currency Database so that the currencies you use the most will appear at the top of the list on the EZ Start – Invoices screen.
• Adds a button to calculate the Total Gross Mass and Tare Mass on the EZ Start - IMO screen.
• Adds a Dangerous Goods IMO document that does not include the blue border so it can be printed on paper with a blue border.
• Updates the wording on the AES – Load Shipment screen to match the ACE Portal EEI filing process.
• Includes other minor bug fixes.
